This highly buoyant mix contains no preservatives and has been measured out so you simply add the specified amount of water to make highly buoyant high leakage popups which float for days.
This pot holds 50 grams of base mix.
Put a bowl that you will mix the pop-up mix in on a weigh scale and add 25 gms of water or 25 grams of preservative water , with a fork stir and mix with a fork until you achieve a uniform crumbly consistency , put some oil on your hands and knead the dough into a ball and knead until uniformly smooth , the dough is ready for rolling or forming into baits by hand .
Too colour the pop-ups add in powder dye to the dry mix and incorporate thoroughly.
If you put 5 gms of Glycerine with 20 gms of water or preservative water the baits with stay softer when when dried after cooking.
the baits will need to be boiled for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes depending on the size of the bait.
Makes approximately the same as a 1 egg mix.
