We have been using this new mix for several years now developed for long life buoyancy with high leakage and ease of production.
It dose not use the glass spheres and so is much safer and gives a more consistent end result .Put a bowl that you will mix the pop-up mix in on a weigh scale and add 50 gms of water or 50 grams of preservative water ,then add 100gms of the pop-up mix , with a fork stir and mix with a fork until you achieve a uniform crumbly consistency, with oiled hands knead until uniformly smooth , the dough is ready for rolling or forming into baits by hand .
Too colour the pop-ups add in powder dye to the dry mix and incorporate thoroughly, before adding the powder to the liquid.
If you put 10 gms of Glycerine with 40 gms of water or preservative water the baits with stay softer when when dried after cooking. The baits will need to be boiled for about 90 seconds to 2 minutes depending on the size ofthe bait.
Make a small mix to see how easy this is to use ,then start adding different attractors and colours for your own personal special hook baits.
Just a few things you can add ,GLM , Liver powder ,Squid meal and Yeast ,many more ,think about adding powders and not the as they are more concentrated .
Flavours can be included in the initial mixing and after they are cooked.
