Fishing into a strong Head Wind

I was on grenville on Sunday and the wind was really blowing straight into my face. It was impossible to get any free offerings out to where the fish were showing at 120yds. I don’t like fishing pop-ups in very windy conditions. Hence I blasted single HG 42 bottomĀ bait out and was rewarded with a fine 39lb 14oz mirror. It just shows that a good bait will always catch. I also had a 7lb 10oz chub.

The Sliding D-Rig

By Paul Cooper

Paul Coopers field testing tips continued

In this video I go through the steps to make the Sliding D-Rig. This is a rig that is very versatile rig.

The rig can be fished with the boilie on a long hair or can be fished piggy back on the hook and a new hook can be replaced in seconds if the original blunts for any reason.
